By registering for a campus tour, my guests and I agree to follow these guidelines. We understand that because of the current public health emergency, we may be assuming additional risks to our health and safety by choosing to participate in a campus tour.
For the safety of our community and our visitors, Ohio State enforces a combination of safety measures, including face masks, physical distancing, hand hygiene and limiting density in indoor spaces. All guests are expected to follow these personal safety practices:
Only two guests are permitted to visit with each student. Additional guests will not be permitted to enter the Undergraduate Admissions Welcome Center, nor will they be permitted to join a campus tour group once dismissed. For everyone’s safety, any attempts to add extra guests to the tour will result in removal from the tour group.
Effective March 11, 2022, face masks are optional in most indoor spaces on all Ohio State campuses, including residence halls, dining facilities, classrooms, offices and the Ohio Union. The university continues to require masks in clinical health care settings (including the Wexner Medical Center), COVID-19 testing locations, child care centers and on public transportation.
Please maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others in any public space — indoor or outdoor — wherever possible.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after touching common surfaces. If soap and water are not available, use 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer. The university has made hand sanitizer widely available across Ohio State’s campuses.
In the past 24–48 hours, if you have experienced symptoms consistent with a viral syndrome such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea, muscle or body aches, and/or loss of taste or smell, you should not attend your campus tour or come to campus. Please email email@example.com to cancel your visit.
Please arrive on time, and no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
