Admission criteria

We are looking for students who will take their place among the next generation of leaders. But test scores don’t tell the whole story. That’s why we have a holistic review process based on a broad range of criteria.

Tuition and fees

Ohio State is one of the best values among top-ranked public universities. Check the latest estimated costs.

Don't forget financial aid

The FAFSA is available on October 1 each year, and filing by Ohio State’s priority date of February 1 gets you maximum aid consideration.

When you're ready to apply, November 15 is key

Hooray, we've made it to your short list! Okay, listen close. Ohio State's Common Application open August 1. We must receive your complete application by November 15 if you wish to be considered for most university merit scholarships. And we strongly recommend applying by November 15 if you wish to be considered for majors in the College of Engineering, the Morrill Scholarship Program, and Honors and Scholars Programs.
